Even though the name LinuXchangE (LXE) suggests a relation to the Exhange system, the origin of the name comes from the idea of transmiting information trough the Linux operative system.

LXE does not just offer the services provided by Microsfot Exchange. It offers the same possibilities as having Microsoft Windows 200 server, ActiveDirectory, Exchange and Microsoft Proxy together.

This is a backend solution that will allow the user’s workstation work transparently with Windows 2000 or XP as a desktop.

We are convinced that the end users should maintaing their systems running on the Windows environment, however it is now possible to have LXE as server for corporate services.
